Emerging exporter a winner
On October 6, Intellection Pty Ltd was announced the winner of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce 'Emerging Exporter Award'. The accolade reflected the growth and innovation of a company celebrating only its second birthday this month. "We are incredibly proud to receive this honour and be recognised for our product development and exploration of new markets internationally," commented Intellection's CEO Calvin Treacy. "This award reinforces our commitment to total solutions for mineral analysis. We are confident it will be one of many to come."
Intellection is the global leader in the automated quantitative evaluation of minerals, rocks and man-made materials (mineralogy) using their own developed QEMSCAN™ technology (incorporating a scanning electron microscope). This technology has a number of application areas, and is currently being used in the mining exploration, oil & gas, forensic geoscience, coal and environmental sectors.
The ABCC's six categories, mirrored those of the Premier's Awards, which will be held on 27 October 2005. Winners in the ABCC categories are automatic finalists in the Premier's Awards. The Chamber believes in recognising Queensland companies that have succeeded in a demanding, sophisticated, highly competitive and mature market such as the U.K.
