Intellection strengthens board of directors

Leading providers of integrated solutions for the automated, quantitative evaluation of minerals, rocks and man-made material, Intellection Pty Ltd today announced a further strengthening of its Board of Directors with the appointment of Mr Christian Lange as a Non-Executive Director.

In addition to his new role with Intellection, Christian is the Managing Director and CEO of integrated services company Neptune Marine Services Limited (ASX:NMS). Prior to this Christian was the Managing Director and CEO of mining equipment manufacturer SDS Corporation Limited and was formerly Vice President for the global oilfield services group, Schlumberger Limited. In a 16 year career with Schlumberger, Christian held a range of senior executive positions responsible for operations, capital markets, marketing, business strategy and general management.

Intellection Chairman Barry Hilson said, “Christian brings a wealth of experience in the Oil & Gas services sector and fast growing global companies to the Board of Intellection. His appointment, adds substantially to our domain knowledge in the Oil and Gas industry and to the balance of skills on the Board.

“Christian joins Intellection at an important stage in the Company’s development. The Management team is well advanced on the execution of its growth strategy, and as the Company grows, it is important that we match the growth via addition of relevant knowledge, skills and experience to our Board.”

Intellection recently entered the Oil & Gas services sector with the introduction of an advanced mineralogy and lithotyping process based on the company’s QEMSCAN® technology. This service provides detailed mineralogical analysis of drill cuttings from wells, aiding understanding of the geology associated with complex reservoirs.
